Aunt Hilda gave you last year?

free event

Baltimore, MD (Sept. 30, 2007)— Earth Alley, a new store in the heart of Hampden, is hosting this fun, holiday workshop on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Located at 3602 Elm Avenue, Earth Alley is one door up from the “Ave”.

Earth Alley is gearing up for holiday merriment. Come join Beth Baldwin to learn how to make colorful, felt ornaments for the holidays. Open to adults and children 10 and older. You will walk away with a one-of-kind creation that you can send back to Aunt Hilda.

Beth Baldwin is an artist living and working in DC. She has been a props artisan for the Shakespeare theatre for over 9 years and recently entered the world of Public Art. When not fitting art into government buildings, she is slowly building an army of felt dolls called "Baddies" to do her bidding.

You must bring your own felt, sewing needles and thread. This is a free event; however, space is limited - please rsvp by calling 410-366-2110.

September store hours are: Wednesday 5-8, Thursdays 4 – 7 p.m., Fridays & Saturdays 12:00 - 7:00 p.m., Sundays 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. More holiday hours to come!
